This training consists of two Preschool STEAM trainings: the prerequisite training, STEAM: An Integrated Approach to Learning and Creating STEAM-Related Indoor Preschool Experiences.
In the first session, participants will explore an introduction to the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach and will learn the history and benefits of using STEAM-based experiences.
In the second session, participants will explore the components of the STEAM concept as they relate to indoor preschool learning experiences. Through hands-on activities and discussion, participants will learn what STEAM looks like in the indoor environment, and the steps involved in planning STEAM-related activities.
Participants will utilize hands-on experiences and discussions in this training.
